The Space Marines are Humanity’s greatest and most terrifying champions, equal to any teeming alien horde, though few in number. Their transhuman might is enhanced by arcane genetic alchemy, and they are clad in advanced power armour that makes each warrior a walking tank. Striking from burning skies with sudden fury, they slaughter their enemies amid the thunder of bolt rifles and the snarl of chainswords. In their wake they leave nothing but devastation as testament to the Emperor’s might.

Codex: Space Marines is an essential supplement for anyone who wants to collect and play games of Warhammer 40,000 with these post-human soldiers. Packed with fascinating background material, photography of impressive armies, guidelines for growing and painting your collection, and the rules you'll need to wage the wars of Humanity against their many foes.

Inside this 232-page softcover book, you'll find:
– A full lore section with background material, historical notes, evocative artwork, a description of various units, and inspiring photography, giving you insight into the Angels of Death
– A collecting section containing advice on building a thematic army and working towards detachments, with painting guides and tips for creating a themed battlefield
– A rules section with the army special rules, 15 detachments, and 85 datasheets you'll need to field your Space Marines as an effective fighting force on the tabletop
– Foldout front and back covers, featuring epic photography and a progress report on the restoration of the Ultramarines' fortress monastery

This book is presented in an easy-to-carry 185mm by 250mm softcover format with a removable slipcase.

Inside the back cover, you’ll find a unique code that will unlock the Space Marines faction in Warhammer 40,000: The App, including ongoing access to more free Space Marines content over time.
